Valentine Day Celebrating At Ringling Brother's Circus

Valentine's Day Weekend was my family first time to the circus and was my first time to the circus since I was 5 years old . Our family was able to visit the Ringling Brothers Circus and watch them Presents Legends at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta Georgia just 40 miles from our residence.

We chose to go on Valentine's Day as a gift to our family  so the entire family would be involved . My oldest son is missing because he decided the circus was to boring for him and he would stay at his dad's . Boy did he miss a great show !

This show is almost a 3 hour show of non-stop  entertainment .   There was a 10 minute break to allow for the stage crew to set up for the last event. I tried to include pictures of most of the highlights of what we saw .   Most of the time you are completely at AWWW at what you see or even with a more baffled look on your face the whole time with what you see during the show .
I was so young when it was the last time that I had went I forgot all about the show and what it was about .  There where so many kinds of animals, including kangaroos, elephants, dogs, pigs, tigers  and lions. Our favorite part was the elephants of course which is the standard circus animal .
One of the most interesting thing they have included in the circus was the motorcycle event . The young ladies next to me kept saying , "I can't believe they put that many motorcycles in that ball" . I was a sphere and held up to 10 motorcycles all drove into it and somehow never crashed . I'm sure it all took a lot of practice.

Really the entire time I was there I kept asking myself how do they do it .
Another, neat interesting thing they have is that they incorporated many of the different world cultures into it that included the Chinese dragons I don't think they where real but I thought it was pretty neat they where included.

The one thing I'm sure I never really cared about when I was 5 was the price tag on food , drink and toys that you get at the circus  wow  cow that was some price tag !
Low down on price tag:
bag of pop corn : $10
souvenir cup of soft drink  $10
hot dog $ 5
pizza $7
This light up glow toy (you will see my daughter has one) $22
Lemonade $12

Our family really enjoyed spending Valentine's Day together . I would not have spent it any other way . I totally would do it again. There's really just nothing else like it. Seeing my child face light up with happiness is more important than spending it in a fancy restaurant.

The biggest reason I like to blog is to share how my family and I enjoy having fun together by utilizing our state resources . I hope this will help give other families ideas that are on a budget when it comes to spending money but want to find ways to spend time with their family outside the home . I will include resources from different states, coupons, hotels, budget ideas, meals etc.

My family goal for the New Year was to get out on the weekends and spend time together get away from social media and my son x box .
